WOYWW... That Didn't Last Long...

...*hangs head in shame* Oh dear, nay and thrice, it is... a total mess again... yes, indeedily, I have been far too busy polishing my halo to notice that my...er... Room of Stash has once again decended into being... a Room of... TRASH! I know, I was all "look at me, aren't I neat?" for a couple of weeks but they always say that a leopard never changes its spots... and it seems that should apply to me right now.

I have to say, in my defence, that I am amidst all the mess and detritus of a marathon Christmas card making session... for I have made a vast amount of cards... actually, I made one, got huffy, chucked everything onto the floor and proceeded downstairs to watch the telly ROFL But, as excuses go, it isn't that bad. Really. Is it? Anyways, I am waffling on about the state of my room because today is Wednesday which means it's time for WOYWW - hosted by Julia, Inspector in Chief of the Control of Messy Crafters. CLICK HERE to see all the deets, the links and what it is all about. I have to go now, so I am keeping this short, for a change... mainly cos I have a... erm... Christmas tree to put up and decorate. I know, I know, I said I was doing that on Sunday, oh and on Monday too... I am ever so good at avoidance tactics now you know. I am deffo doing it today though.. really, I am... after I have had a bath, cleaned the bath, descaled the kettle and rearranged the tins in the cupboards... see, avoidance tactics... if there was an O Level (O Level! Please! How old am I!!!) in it I would get an A. Actually, I would probably get a U cos I would avoid that too ROFL Thanks for looking... have a FAB day! TTFN

What do you mean, you haven't done your cards yet OR put up the tree, rofl. I love decorating the tree - just wish I could have one - no space in my flat at all..... what are you doing today to avoid it(I don't believe the list you provided....)

Wow, it looks like everything is returning to normal, busy desk, creative ideas spilling out of the draw and onto the floor and time to always write something that brings a smile to my face. What more could anyone want.

Yay!! Hels is back to normal!!! - it's still tidier than mine!

I can send you over some ironing if you like and that will give you another excuse not to get on with your cards and tree!

My tree's up and I have 18 cards made and have totally run out of enthusiasm now! If Ian wants the cards posted, he had better get a pen out and write them!!

Looking forward to next Wednesday's photo..............

There are two sorts of craft people in this world...the tidy-all-the-time sort and then 'US'.

I have got a big box from my local florist to dumpp everything in and I look forward to starting again.

You workspace looks fun though!!

Wow - what a story. Just so you know, I have to have other things organized, too, before I can start something BIG. It's a healthy thing to complete some manageable tasks first. Don't beat yourself up, you are normal...well, sort of! rofl

Messy! Just like me, but you're brave to show your entire room.

Ah back to normal eh? You must have cried many tears of frustration over that one Christmas card as I see not one but two towels in the Room of Trash! Why??

Thanks for the larf! Why don't you join my gang... I have decided NOT to make any cards. I bought 5 packs in the 99p shop of gorgeous cards as DH moaned and he can write them too if he wants to send them!!

i love it. nothing like a good mess to spur the creative spirit. you know you would rather be in the room of stash than descaling a kettle. no card you make can be that bad.

Let's see, I can still see your desk, your floor, even under your desk. So, there is still hope!!

Like you, I have yet to finish my cards, or even think about getting my gifts together. So, I'll go along with your "excuses." And it's more fun to play, anyway (#4).

So pleased I'm not the only one old enough to remember the dreaded O levels! Just remember that it's not a room of trash, but a room of creativity!

Love the organised chaos, I agree once a messy crafter, always a messy crafter. Hubbie says he can tell if I have enjoyed myself if he can't open the craft room door without moving a stack of card/paper/magazines

OMGee that's better, what a relief to see the real leopard!! I love the idea of it not working how you want it to and so you chuck it all on the floor in a huff, that really warms my smile! As for O levels in putting stuff off...I'm right behind you..or I will be in a minute or two.
