My Favest Stamp...

... is it possible to just have one favourite stamp??? Mmmm, well, I did try to pick just the one fave Tim Stamp, which is the theme over on Simon Says Stamp & Show Challenge this week. So, thru this week I have been thinking about the one stamp I could choose... and it all came down to the one stamp that I reach for if I am feeling Mojo-dry... and that stamp is... Brolly Man. Actually, I don't know what his name is but he has a brolly, so he will always be Brolly Man to me... I mean, his name could be Ernest or Wilfred or Wayne... who knows!

Anyways... as well as this card being my entry into the challenge it is also my DT piece for the Artistic Stamper... all the deets on how I made the card are HERE on the Creative Team blog... along with some more pics too.

I erm... had another mishap!!! Yes, whilst I was trying to make this card, I decided to see if Perfect Pearl Mists would look good on the design... so, I got the Heirloom Gold one and gave it a shake and sprayed it onto a test piece of card (hey, I was trying to be careful ROFL) and it came out like a jet! So, not being very happy, I took the nozzle off and went to have a look what was wrong... it looked like the springy bit at the top was blocked, so I sprayed it.. and a whole jet of mist came pouring out and onto my lap... not content with having a lapfull of mists, I then went to brush the worst off and knocked the bottle with my hand... and... the nozzle was still in my other hand... let's just say that I have a lovely pair of sparkly trousers and the carpet is looking... erm... a bit blingy! LOL Anyways... I better go, I have some... cleaning to do ROFL... thanks for looking... have a FAB day and don't forget to check back tomorrow for the new Sunday Stamper theme. TTFN

Good grief Hels, your not safe to be allowed out on your own... or stay in, it seems!! I am sure the sparkles will brighten your day though and Brolly Man is a very good name for him... he looks like a Brolly to me.... ;)

One of my favs, too, and you got an excellent image with the clear lettering, I must say! Not always easy to do.
Great job!!!!!

Hey, one day if you want to make a blog post and can't be bothered to make anything, just take a pic of your carpet! :) I LOVE this piece! (I mean the brolly man thing, not the carpet. Oh, and his name is Mr. Fortesque, at least as far as I'm concerned, pronounced 4-tess-kwuh)

Whoops, what were we saying about pale carpets the other day?!? Love the card. I don't have Brolly Man but I think I need (er, want?) him!

You could set a trend in perfect pearl spritzed trousers. I changed 2 ink cartidges in my printer yesterday and now have a splattered blue work top! Brolly Man is a good theme just now with all this rain too, although I reckon his brolly will turn inside out in the gales - 100mph here yesterday!!

At least it went in your lap, not your face! The card turned out fab though.

This little guy is one of my favorites too. I love how you have him looking at the rays of sun just showing over the horizon after the rain!

Love this tag and glad you're okay. Sure glad Alfie isn't all bling-y. Not sure that's a cat's pleasure.

I think brolly man is fab too, although i go for Tim's skeleton most of the time!

Have a good one.

Thank God, I thought you were going to say you had thrown yourself down the stairs again! A very yummy card Hels. The brollie man works so well with the birds flying over, you never know when they are going to poop on your head do you! And you wouldn't be a proper crafter if you hadn't decorated, the table/carpet and wall with Mists and paint!

too bad the mists don't glow in the dark, you could work by the golden glow with the lights off. i did smile a bit at your story because i do stuff like this all the time. i have quite a few "decorative" clothes. the tag looks good though.

Hi there,

This is a message for the webmaster/admin here at pinkleart.blogspot.com.

May I use part of the information from your post right above if I give a link back to your website?

Thanks,

Brolly man page is outstanding! Love the message and giggled with you over the pearly mist mishap. They do say glitter goes with everything, right?

This is brill Hells - I think my fave too - just love him because you can apply him to so many occasions. I love your theme of walking off into the sunset ..... Oh - I miss the sun! This damp weather is making my hands so painful. However, I just have to keep stamping and colouring.

See you soon.

Love
Valxx
