A Pinch & A Punch...

...Tis the first of the month! October *already!!!* Which means... time for a brand new challenge over on the Artistic Stamper Creative Team blog... with a goodly prize up for grabs for one random entrant... I have chosen the theme this month... and made a little altered photo frame with some stamping and inks and grungepaper... to see it in full... and all the deets on how to enter the challenge... please CLICK HERE... today's mode of transport across the Blog-asphere is a magical umbrella - seems we need it with all this rain we are having!!!

Anyways... I have one word to say.... UGGGGGGGG... that is how I's feeling still... I seemed to perk up a bit yesterday morning so decided to go into the town centre, do a bit of banking and get some potions from the chemist to help my ailments... so, there I am, parked in the multi-storey carpark... feeling very rough indeedily and totally blank on how to get home! I have only been into the town 4 times since we moved here... erm... nearly 6 months ago... so I was starting to panic a little bit. I just couldn't for the life of me think of the way home... so... I had to do that dreaded thing... I had to phone for help... don't worry, I didn't dial 999... no I phoned Grim... who was at work and thought it very strange that I was calling and telling him I was in the town... and then asking... er... how do I get home??? OMG, how stoooopid am I??? *don't answer that one, I know already LMAO* Ever the gent, Grim told me the way home... and he didn't even laugh at me... *if it had been the other way round I would have been hooting like a loon!* Anyways... I got home, eventually.. reminding myself now that if I go into the town... take the SatNav with me ROFL... right, I going now... feeling like poo still and want to make sure I am better for the weekend... TTFN

Bless you, sending even more hugs and cyber tissues ..... not the whiskey (hic) as I find I need that more to ward off any possibility of catching said cyber manflu.

You need ruby slippers for your next foray into the great township.

Hugs

Oh dear Hels, I too am really bad at finding my way about... and have the additional factor that whilst trying to get back home I also have to remember to drive on the wrong side of the road... without sat nav I wouldn't be able to do anything!! Chris is also quite used to the odd call at the office to direct me back home... they are so useful, aren't they???!!

Oh Hels, I feel for you, but I am not feeling well either and your brain just doesn't work when you are poorly(well that is my theory anyway). How you keep producing wonderful art while you are poorly is beyond me! I haven't touch a crafty thing all week.Get well soon x

Try this again....
I am directionally challenged, and everyone who knows me will attest to this. But I have Directions and Connections with Onstar that has opened up a whole new venue for me.
My daughter once told me, "Mom, if you go in exactly the OPPOSITE direction that you think you should, you'll have a much better chance of getting where you want to go."

WHEW! Get better.
Big Huggs!
