WOYWW... I Did It!!!

...indeedily... I managed to keep my Room of Stash clean and tidy for a whole 3 days... I tidied up the mess on Sunday... it took.... FOUR hours.. but it was worth it 'cos I can now see the floor and have room of the desk to actually spread out a bit! If you have no idea why I am showing you pics of my desk... well, it is 'cos the Chief Superintendant of Desk Inspectors - AKA Mrs Julia Dunnit started this mad crazy Wednesday thing 66 weeks ago and once I joined in, I was totally hooked! Never tried it before?? Pop over to Julia's blog and see what the fuss is about LOL

Desk #2 is equally as tidy and ready for using... but... how long can I keep it like this I wonder??? I reckon it will be a pigsty again later 'cos I have some special projects to play with today... honestly, how difficult can it be to keep it tidy... I will just clean up and put stuff away once I have finished playing... *if you believe that... ;O))*

Anyways... a short n sweet offering from me today and a quick sorry to everyone who I didn't get around to last week... a simple issue with the naffing internet connection made it almost impossible to blog hop... some blogger pages were taking 15 mins to load... worse than the old dial up! I went for a playdate yesterday at The Stamp Attic and... got lost! Seriously... I use a Sat Nav to get me there... Jane (the Sat Nav) is a very nice lady who doesn't shout at me if I go wrong... but... there was a closed road... so I have to take the diversion... and I was sitting there thinking that Jane would find her way out of the diversion... wrong! I ended up doing a big circle and ending up back on the road to the closed road. So, I diverted again... bemused look from the workman standing at the barricade (Ferdy is... erm, very recognisable - once seen, never forgotten) So, off I tootled... Jane took me a different way this time so I was rather relieved that I wasn't lost... until I ended up... yep, you guessed it, back on the same road again. The workman bloke thought it was hilarious that this unusual looking car and rather frazzled driver were there again... Anyways... being a workman type bloke, *and obviously very helpful... not!!!* he came over to Ferdy and asked me if I was lost!!! So I said... "no, I just like driving round in circles" And whizzed off to find a layby to pull into so I could phone Wendy and beg for directions... which I got... and finally got there 30 mins later than planned! Anyways... I am not impressed with Jane, she should have known we were lost ROFL... Cor, there was me saying it was going to be a short post... erm, apologies for going off on a tangent... for a change LOL Thanks for looking... see you in the Blogasphere... TTFN

Very tidy desk, and you have two of them, lucky you, I would love two desks LOL. Both very tidy, just the way I like it. I love how much stash you have. Stamps on the shelves and so so many unmounted stamps. I love rubber, sorry the rubber stamp kind LOL. Hope you enjoyed your play day at The Stamp Attic, did you see Sue? Tracy Evans x

I love your craft room, everything to hand when you need it but more special to me if it were mine is, I could jmust sit there LOOKING at all that gorgeous stash. Now this Jane, my DH has one of her clones and I hate her. Strong words but she is useless too. Have you tried Ossy Osbourne????

Eeek! that looks a bit spooky... like a sort of "ghost town"! I am often lost, well, not really lost, I always know where I am, I'm just not sure where everything else is!

Might not have been a short post but was well worth the read. I'm sat here chuckling now so thanks for that.

Tidy desks, not for long I bet. I've just cleared the floor and under my workbench but above waist line is horendous. Trouble is everytime I buy something new I squeeze it in somewhere till I am at bursting point. Oh well I'll leave that for another day.

I would have panicked seeing such a tidy desk if I had not known where you were, despite our local workmen trying to confuse you........sorry about that :( It's always fab to see you....xx

Very tidy today, Hels! I have Julian Clary on my Sat Nav, he sent me into Stoke on Trent Railway Station car park by mistake once instead of up the M6, I was not happy! Still, he has a funny turn of phrase, and makes me smile, so I usually forgive him, how sad is that! Judith xx

Humm - again with the Service Unavailable messages. Is it just me (or non-Blogger people) who are having trouble today? I am seriously loving your stamp display - it's like art that you can rearrange every day. Somehow the CD cases of clear stamos don't have the same artistic appeal LOL!

Very impressed with your stamp storage binders. Are they purchased or made by your own fair hand. I have mine in a box with dividers at the moment, but not sure it is working for me really. How did you do yours?

I came by earlier and saw nothing. BOY am I glad I returned. I'm marking this date on my calendar because not only did you have possibly the cleanest TWO desks this week, you had the funniest story. Poor Jane may have to go back to the manufacturer to have her information updated. STILL LAUGHING HERE!!

OMG I am laughing so hard I can't see what I'm typing! That always happens to me, you'd think that a satnav would know when there's roadworks...well in my opinion, they should!
You go girl! What a great job at tidying and keeping it tidy :)

This is too tidy for words.
Glad you got to your destination eventually... we had a similar episode not long ago where the SAT NAV lady wanted us to go where the road was clearly impassable due to workmen!
Hey HO!

I'm so late that I'm guessing it's not really as tidy as that any more. Unless you've moved into a hotel for a week - nice thought of a play date at The Stamp Attic - did you tidy up before you came home?!!

Ooh, lookit you with your tidy desk(s). Would love a rummage thru those boxes of stamps I can see on the shelf!

Ok, I'm intrigued - what is Ferdy? yes I know he's a car I mean what make/model? By the name, my heart wants to say a distressed Beetle but I think that's my own wishful thinking/penchant speaking
