Sunday Stamper - Week 119 - All Kinds of Everything

Morning Stampers! Many thanks for joining in with the challenge last week... in a total about turn I have used only Tim stamps for this weeks theme... I just don't like not using them! Anyways... the new theme... is... USE EVERYTHING... that is your fave stash! So I have used all Tim Holtz products cos believe it or not... his stuff makes me happy :O)) I made a couple of tags for my entry... it did start out as some altered art but I decided to tidy the Room of Trash... to make it back into the Room of Stash... and erm... I think I tidied away my altering Mojo! Anyways... I used Distress Inks, Texture Fades, Idea-ology, Grungepaper, Tims stamps, Tims papers... all that lovely stuff that I love to use!

The first tag was coloured with Pumice Stone (another fave) and run through a Texture Fade then coloured with Aged Mahogany... then I added some Film Strip with little photo's cut from the Lost & Found stack. The tickets were cut from the Ticket Alteration and those new Ticket stamps popped onto them... plenty of staples and some Grungepaper flowers cut using the Tattered Florals Alteration and a Memo Pin with one of the Tickets behind the flower.

The second tag had a smidge of Trad Tan (hey, I couldn't do a favourites piece without it LOL) stippled onto it, then coloured with Scattered Straw and Crushed Olive... then Pine Needles around the edge. I stamped and embossed a background using Shabby Shutters EP but it doesn't really show in the pics... I stamped some sprigs with Forest Moss, stamped a scroll and popped an Idea-ology Locket over it... that is an idea I nicked from Wendy Vecchi (another FAVE of mine LOL) only I used Tim's scroll instead of Wendy's... why can't I think up idea's like that huh? I cut a load of flowers using book pages and the Tattered Florals again... layering them up after colouring with DI's and popping a metal button into the middle and then adding a ticket behind the flower.

So there you go... my fave things... to join in with the challenge, all you need to do is make something that includes stamping and the theme (and this week you can use literally everything LOL), leave me a comment here with a linky to the place you are showing your work of art and I will pop over to see it. The challenge closes at 21:00 Saturday 11th September '10.

I mentioned earlier that I tidied up my room... erm, it had got soooo bad that I could just about tippytoe to the desk... and couldn't see any of the floor! So, I got stuck in and tidied everything away - chucking out offcuts of paper that I am never going to use... and... are you sitting down??? Not only did I get the vaccuum out... I also got the polish out too and dusted the shelves... needless to say it did take a teensy bit longer than anticipated... like FOUR hours!!! I am stating here and now... never again am I letting the room get that bad... for a start, I find it really hard to use the vaccuum (not cos I am a lazy slut - that is one reason, but cos it doesn't half give my poor old back some) but also, it is just such hard work to let it get to that state and then waste time clearing it all... nope, from now on, tidy Hels has come to stay *mmm, wondering how long that will last ROFL* Anyways... it is done now and I can't wait for Wednesday so I can show it off... I had thought about popping a pic on this post but thought better of it... I mean, half way thru a week... there is every possibility that it will be back in a right state come Wednesday morning ROFL Right... I better get a wiggle on, Grim is due home from work soon and I have a lot of ink to remove from my paws! Thanks for looking... hope you all have a FABBYLICIOUS Sunday! TTFN...

Hels x

3.35 am cannot sleep and by the look of things neither can you, because you have already posted. It is all that cleaning up, it is bad for you Hels! Dusting too, you have only lived there a few months and cleaning already and without visitors coming too, you will give me a bad name! Do love the tags especially the greeny one both very pretty.

These tags are both great but my fav has to be the green/gold one. I love fall colors any time of the year, and Tim's products and techniques make it perfect! I too am a huge fan of all things Tim Holtz and Wendy Vecchi.

These are simply beautiful, and isn't it good to be reminded to use beautiful stash and tools? I'm just the same ... you should see my Basic Grey collection of stuff which is too precious to actually use!

Love the tags Hels, I just got my paws on Tim's tattered florals die yesterday, and lots of new yummy stamps too. :oD
Funny you should say how long it took to tidy, I know what I'll be doing all afternoon now, no room to play & I need to find a home for my new goodies too, but yikes! I've migrated some stuff through to my dining room table, so I could have a play, my baad!

I love these tags, especially the green one. Now what's all this cleaning about? Have you gone mad? I thought craft rooms were supposed to have dust in them so you could draw in it and create - well - creations. Can't just remember who told me though.

Loved the tags Hels - green one the best but only just a little bit more than the red one!! Looking forward to seeing the new tidy place on Wednesday. Spent today with Sarah doing Steampunk Journal at Wantage and have now seen the metal rose piece in the flesh that we're doing on 17th October - can't wait, it's gorgeous.
Wendy showed us all your samples and wishing now I had the time (and money!) to do more of the workshops!!
