WOYWW... With A Sneaky Peeps...

... I know, another Wednesday... already! Thank you all for your lovely birthday wishes last week for Grim, he did say thank you on the post but in case you missed it... anyways... today on my workdesk is... a pile of art... which are my workshop samples... all piled on top of each other waiting to be boxed up for transportation... crikey, that makes them sound like convicts being transported to Botany Bay... mind you, I wouldn't mind being transported there... always fancied a trip Down Under. I am off at a tangent already... back to... the samples... for my workshops... if you would like to see more of them and about them... please pop on over to The Stamp Attic where all the deets are :O))

Last week I had a few questions about what is under my desk on the shelves... well, they are my most prized and treasured possessions... my Wendy Vecchi stamps and books... they are in the binders you can get for them *yet to be altered, tis another on the "to do" list LOL... am hoping Wendy might pop over for a week or so and do them for me!!* And... remember my LOVE hanging thingy??? I have decided to go for it and alter it... but am building up to that by hanging a few bits of art off it first, you know, just to see if it suits colour LOL Above the desk are the two little ATC's that I am giving away this week... and next to them are my three main gadgetty things I need all the time; Dymo labeller jobby, Crop-A-Dile and the Tiny Attacher.

For a change, here is a pic of inside a drawer... my paints drawer to be precise... and no, those aren't all Traditional Tan pots... they are nearer to me (in a desk drawer LOL) Anyways... if you are new to this Wednesday lark (not actually the day Wednesday cos that would be just too weird) but to the concept that is WOYWW, hop on over to *Head Desk Examiner and the lady who very cleverly thunked up with amazing phenomenon...* Julia's blog where everyone sets off on their hugely enjoyable nosey-parker literally around the world! Tis a fabby thing to be part of... come on, join in, you know you want to! Thanks for looking... have a grand day... see ya in Bloggerspace... TTFN

Are you OK Hels? I thought your post was a bit short.(!!) See, you give the IMPRESSION of being disorganised and all, but you are actually very neat tidy and organised - stuff waiting to be posted, orderly stamp collection, paint in containers...really you belong in the tidy section I'm sure!

I do love your row of stamps, not one any way like any of mine and I'm now thinking I must spread my collection, as those grim-scarry half dead looking people are being to grow on me, and ideas for dark scarrrrry cards and other makes are filling my mind! Hedgehogs and teddy's just aren't scrarrrry enough!

good morning Hels,

did you post this yesterday or this morning ? You are fast :)
Jennie is right : I don't bet this is the desk you are busy working at.. this is a before or after...LOL
When we were in London in April we went to a shop close to Covent garden and there they had a lot of those "love" hangings and other stuff in metal. I'm quite sure this is the same shop where you bought this beauty !

And yes, I was at Ally Pally and it was me :)

A few months before the craftshow I won something at the artistic stamper and you started to post on ATT shortly before the craftshop.
When we were at the craftshow we stopped at the booth of the Artistic Stamper watching Jennie demoing.
I talked a bit to her and then suddenly I said : " but then you are Jennie ! I won at your website" and then she said " this is Hels".
Then I knew this had to be you cause Hels is not a common name and you must be the Hels of ATT !

So many booths we visited and the one we start a conversation at seems to be you and Jennie, that was such a coincidence and it must have been like this.

You can read the whole London story and see the photo with Jennie ( you were too busy to get on the photo) at my blog " weirdo's in London" with this link
http://tinyurl.com/2a9bq3t

My biggest purchase that day was at the artistic stamper : I bought all the Tim dies :)

greetings from belgium
Inge

Hi Hun, well after going back to bed about 3.45 I still couldn't sleep so read for a while and must've dropped off after 5.00 then woke up at 7.30!! Went back to sleep and got up just after 9.00 - think I must've had more sleep than you after you're early morning blog-hopping ;-)
I like the 'Love' as it is but it will look gorgeous adorned too

loved looking in your draws lol and fab desk

with regard to the fence envy thing it took two weeks to put up and the curves were drawn with pencil and string and even longer and tons of blades to cut out the curves (so much easier on card I tell ya) It has lasted well but was expensive to create

good luck with your fence selection and thanks for the snoop

I think your room always looks fab and I could probably be locked in there for a month or two without batting an eye-lid. I also have a "things to alter box" which will soon have to become a skip as there is always another plain chipboard orphan or whatsamecallit on the loose...
