...Oooops, it is Saturday, which means that I am 5 days late with the Compendium of Curiosities challenge hosted by the ever so talented and incredibly clever Linda... if you haven't heard about this challenge - or if you have heard but don't know what page we are on this week... please click HERE to find out all about it :O)) **so, who ate this week then? I mean, one minute it is Monday morning and the next... tis now, Saturday... cor blimey, either I am on fast forward or someone really has scoffed a whole week! ROFL**
So... I am so late joining in but I made it... I don't know, last week I got two made, this week I struggled to make one tag! However, Mr Mojo has come back off his holiday *needless to say, he didn't bring me a stick of rock or a straw donkey LOL* so I managed to get a few bits n bobs done yesterday... this tag being one of them... All Tim's stash (well, not Tim's own stash, it belongs to me cos that would be well daft to have Tim's stash here... erm, actually, that would be well coolio indeedily!!!... Sorry, am waffling again...) ... Distress Inks, Stamps, Tissue Tape, Grungepaper, Distress Stickles, Idea-ology...
I made some Grungepaper roses - and popped Distress Stickles onto them before assembling them... this means that once the Stickles are dried you can curl the petals and they stay curled... where if you pop it on afterwards, poing, the petals pop back again! The colours of Stickles I used are: Spiced Marmalade onto Wild Honey DI, Broken China onto Broken China DI and Fired Brick onto Barn Red DI....
So, whatcha got planned for today? I am hoping to have a bit of a lay in - it is nearly 2am and I am just about to go and wake up Grim - he is off to work in a while, so once he has gone, I shall away to my bed and snoozle til ... well probably til AlfieCat comes and pats my face to tell me it is breakfast time LOL Thanks for looking... have a great day and don't forget.. a new Sunday Stamper theme tomorrow :O)) TTFN

Er snap, i'm hoping for a lay in too.
Fab tag, real bold and striking x sweet dreams hun x
Funny girl, you're not late-- this challenge is open for two more days! But that's beside the point. The point is, this tag is spectacular!!! Your brilliant use of color rivals anyone's-- you really know how to ink your art in the most gorgeous ways! I love the Stickle-ized roses and the gorgeous background, love it ALL! "Inspire" is the right charm for this sweet work of art, and ... I "HOPE" I someday learn to make art half as wonderful as yours!
Lovely tag! Love all those roses!
It is Friday here, so you are earlier than you think! Ha! Love this! Your roses are like totally gorgeous! Have a fabulous weekend!
Gorgeous tag!
Hels, you are so amazing. I wait each week to see what you publish. I love your style, you humor, and art. Thank you for participating!!!
Do you have a tutorial on the roses? I'd love to learn how to make them?

I don't care what you say, you CAN'T have too many grunge roses. Your tag is of course, just divine.
I had a lie in (finished a book) today, didn't get up till 8.30. Now I'm back from shopping, going to watch the cricket - and make ART (hopefully!!) Have a good day.
Thanks for that tip re the roses. I have made a few and always have trouble trying to make them look real. Yours are so neat.
Luv Joanne xx
For me Hels, this is one of the most gorgeous things you have made. Annette x
Nice tag Hels !!
It's a gorgeous tag, Hels!!! I often don't have my entry done until Sunday... but managed to get it done by Friday this week... I was doin' goood!! :-))
Those roses are so beautiful! Of course, your whole tag is beautiful. I love these roses - the Japanese beetles don't get on them and make them all full of holes.
Brilliant tag and love your roses, so looking forward to your workshops here so we can all learn how to make them. Today I got up at..errrrm........10.30 and then went to Ullswater for the day, sat in the sun and ate ice cream. Well I am on holiday lol but home tomorrow and back to it. Good job we have cats to keep time for us isn't it.
that is sooo awesome! I just commented on this tag in the yahoo group, but thought I would jump over and take a peek at your blog.

I just got started in this whole world of inking/stamping/tag making. And I am loving it!
