...I looooove Monday's... they are my favest day of the week now 'cos it means it is time for the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge... thunk up and hosted by a very clever and talented lass... Linda... from Studio L3... if you CLICK HERE you will be transported *yep, as if by magic* to see what all the fun is about! As ever, I am not spilling the beans on the page number we are working from.. but I think that my tag kinda gives it away LOL
I used some of that divine Lost & Found Stack by Mr Holtz, honestly, I may have mentioned this before but... those papers are just perfect... made up of loads of elements that can be snipped and popped onto artwork... the photo's are my favest pages... and there are loads of them too - starting with larger and working thru to teensy. I have used a larger one, mounted onto mountboard, covered in Rock Candy Crackle and then once it cracked, I rubbed Vintage Photo DI into the crackles... this close up pic is the nearest I can get to showing you what it looks like, I need photography lessons LOL And... do you see the ickle photo's in the Type Charms??? They are the same photo but teensier... then... in the Film Strip... do you spot the boy and his puppy? Even teensier still photo's!!! PERFECT!!!
I used Weathered Wood Cracklepaint onto the tag, plopped *don't start me on that plopped word again... too late ROFL* a load of blue tone DI's onto it, them added Vintage Photo... then added some ickle tickets (cut out with the Tickets Alterations and stamped using... oooh, did I mention I have the 100th Collection Ticket Stamps...signed in gold?? I did??? Oh, forgive me, I musta forgot ROFL) Finally, some of that Ruler Ribbon... skudged up with more Vintage Photo and my Tonic Scissors... a bit of manky lace for the top and that was it... sorted!
Please do pop over to Linda's... it is a FAB challenge... and it has Candy too... but even if it didn't have Candy I would join in cos it is such fun... BTW, we are on Week 9 already! Can someone please answer me this... why is time going sooooo quick??? and... where is it going to??? I reckon there is a big stash of time somewhere... you know, like a European Butter Mountain or suchlike LOL thanks for looking... I shall away for my dinner, which tonight is made by my fair *inky* hands... chicken curry... super hot... yum yum!! TTFN
