Hanging 490 & Ten Stylee...

...you know I said that I was going to faff with some Ten Seconds Studio metal yesterday afternoon, whilst being incredibly quiet so as not to wake Grim?? Well, this morning I have finished off one of the pieces of metal I had "moulded"... adding on some Studio 490 stamps, Grungepaper, Grungeboard and some Idea-ology...

The mould I used is actually the reverse sideo of a Kabuka Mold which is all squares but I have just chosen random ones to mould so I got a patchy effect. The metal is Plum and I have added black paint to age it and then some Pool Alcohol Ink to lighten it up a bit.

The flowers are made with 490 stamps... they look fab with metal don't they? And the heart??? Another 490 stamp... as well as the ART in the Idea-ology Book Plate... that had the alcohol ink treatment too :O)) The strip up the centre of the base was made with some gold metal and a couple of ball and cup tools, making faux rivets...And finally, the centre of the flower is a little Maya Road Bingo counter... I know, they are soooo sweet aren't they?

Thanks for looking... I am off to creep about on tippytoes again cos Grim is just off to bed... Alfie did indeedily turn into a Guard Cat last night... I was stoooopid enough to sit and watch a film on BBC1 that was a bit of a thriller... about a woman (Susan Sarandon) who has some stranger creeping about her house...mmm, not a good film to watch when you are alone... so Alfie the Guard Cat came and sat with me...on my feet actually, kept them toasty and helped me to eat a packet of Cheesy Wotsits...they are his fave crisps BTW, but he does look funny when a Wotsit sticks to his fangs...anyway...when Grim got home this morning, apparently GuardCat was sitting at the top of the stairs... keeping...erm...guard... of his Mummy ROFL TTFN... have a great day!

Hels x

PS... am gonna watch Twilight tonight... far nicer to watch a film about deranged vampires and werewolves...surely??? LMAO

**EDIT** ... later....

Joanne has made me spit my coffee all over my laptop - check out her
BLOG... she has posted a piccie of what AlfieCat would have looked like last night watching the film with me... it is toooooo funny... actually, I am gonna put the pic here too ... it made my eyes stream laughing you know... and, check out his little paw-pads...black - must have Ink on His Paws!!

Classic!!!! Thanks Joanne for making me LOL!!! :O))

Just incredible Hels!! In keeping with the thrillers you seem to have on your mind... I would like to suck your creativity right into my brain (say it with a Transylvanian accent please) Guess it's a pretty gross thing to say but hey you are the thriller lover!! The only thriller movie I like is Michael Jackson's video!! Anyway, I LOVE it!

Yummy metal pieces, love the heart, but everyone knows I love hearts, and the flower does look good in metal. Just lovely. My pug pup eats hoola hoops and rolls them around her tongue, so cute. Have a good day Hels. I'm off to do Comp of Curiosities challenge now. Something simple me thinks. Tracy x

Hels, this is just stunning! I can't take my eyes off the beautiful colors and Wendy's stamps look fantastic. I have never used metal but will have to look for tutorials teaching this technique. So glad I found your blog and can follow you daily. Marijane

This is really lovely. I like the richness of the colour on the metal and I just got to have those stamps. Been admiring them for ages so when I get home from my hols, I'm going to buy them. Keep your eyes closed whilst the film is on then you won't get scared!!
