Chip On A Chain...

...Cor blimey and all that! Can you believe that it is a whole week ago since last Friday??? * I have just realised exactly how stoooopid I sound saying that... but you know what I mean!* Actually, what I really mean is that today is Friday *10/10 for observation Hels* and that means it's my day for the Bubbly Funk Blog DT ... I have been playing... you should see the state of my fingers... I started out with all the good intentions of keeping them wiped and clean...hmmmm, after the first couple of babywipes, I forgot, so now they are a lovely colour of... Chipped Rusty Fired Wild Old Brushed Crushed Bundled...Stain!!! ROFL

Anyways, I have been altering a little Maya Road Tag Keychain... I am loving these little pieces of chipboard...and even though they are teensy I still managed to take all evening to alter them... I have used a ton of Grungepaper on them, hence the time it took to make... to see all the deets, please pop on over to the Bubbly Scrumptious Blog - you can get there by clicking HERE. Well, it is Grim's last night shift - hurrah and thrice, tis not a very nice night here in very wet and incredibly windy Northants... me and Alfie"Guard"Cat have battened down the hatches and we are in the Room of Stash... you should see the rain **slarting against the windows though... blimey, it is rough out there - more like November than July!! Anyways.. enough of the weather reports, tis time for my bed... so I shall bid you a very goodly day and say...as ever, thank you for looking and... TTFN!

Hels x

**slarting... now this is a word from my childhood and goodness knows where it popped into my head from but... when I was a kid there was a saying... if you were "posh" you would say... "We are all down in the basement, where the rain lashes against the casement" ... however, if you are from Yorkshire you would say..."We'er all darn in't cellar 'oyl, where t'muck slarts on't winders"
Honestly, I am losing the plot, I am sure of it... I have probably just made you have the biggest yawn of your life... apologies and... I promise not to talk about me being a kid growin' up in't Yorkshire for another ... erm... few weeks ROFLMAO

PS... I have just noticed that if you look at the piccie quickly it looks like it says ARTIVE... it doesn't... honest, it is ART and then the next word is poking out from underneath... you will have to have a look over there to see what I mean LOL

I think I need to send you a box of rubber gloves! LOL, no more inky fingers but then you'd have to change your blog name. LOL

Loved the story about 'slarting' even though I come from next door to Yorkshire, Lol!

Love the keyring decorations too. Amazing how you get so much into a tiny space.

Thank you for my morning chuckle, Hels - your humor always entertains me!
Love the tags - and I do believe (should that be "by jove!"? lol) you found Wendy's technique! The entire canvas piece looks great - the bottle's an excellent reproduction!

Yep it says Artve, I thought it was a Yorkshire term for "Cor it is windy outside!" Good Artve though

Fab tags, Hels - and well worth the inky fingers. Re slarting, wasn't there a character in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy called Barty Slartfast?
