Havin' A Rummage...

.. and I found some old Scrapbook albums I did yonks ago... Honestly, I used to spend hours doing LO's and, since this inky stampy malarkey took over, I haven't done a single LO. Well, I had a good old clear out when we moved and found some really nice LO's I made ages ago.. this is one of me... by me :O)) Check out how plain the LO is - nowadays I have collected a whole load of stash and would do this totally differently... actually, that could be a challenge for me, to make use the same pics and colours and do something totally new... I guess I never got past the beginner stage of Scrapping ROFL

The pic was taken about four years ago on a trip to North Yorkshire - we were on the North Yorks Moors Railway at the time and Grim did a close up *and yes, his camera did still work afterwards LOL* ... we had just been away to Skiathos for a week, hence the freckles - I don't tan, I just freckle, peel and then back to pale and interesting again LOL The pic reminded me of a nickname I was called when I was little.. FreckleFace... so that is why I named the LO this. Anyways.. I just wanted to share it - it was done long before I began to blog so I really don't think it has been seen before ... and you probably won't want to see it again ROFL Have a great day .. TTFN

Hi Hels, I think this LO is wonderful. I love how you used two versions of a close-up and the colors are great. My daughter is the same way; freckles, burns, peels and then is her beautiful pale self again. Strawberry blonde with white-blonde bangs during the summer months. Thanks for sharing.....

i think it is simpky adorable Hels! My youngest daughter was a freckle-face, burn and peel pale girl but she is stunningly beautiful now as a young lady of 19.

i like the pics. so contemplative! it is a nice layout, but, not being a scrapper, i prefer the wendy-tim-grungy-cool stuff.

morning Hels
thats the fun of scrap booking you see how you've progressed or changed your style....I started scraping with pics of my grandson and like you inky things take over....I feel guilty now so I think I shall have to finish off some of the albums I've started. My daughter always tells me that I don't tan the freckles just join up and I'm not particularly pale
have a good week
hugs

I don't think this looks like a beginner. I recently rescrapped a photo (and stupidly forgot to photograph the original layout) and it was fun to see how my style had developed

Those pics are seriously cute! The LO is very pretty, and you got the matting straight and even, which is more than I usually manage :) It would be interesting to see how you used the same colours and pictures now though. I think maybe I ought to do that with some of mine..... so much time, so little to do... or something!

Isn't it great looking back qat old LO's. It brings back great memories and you can see how much your style has changed. Thinking about it, how much the products have changed too.

I took some pics of LO's I did after dad died. Whilst not a happy subject it was great therapy and I love looking back at them know. No-one but me knows the stories cos I haven't written them down, but each make me smile or LOL

I bet if you re-did that layout there would be some grunge and Wendy stamps in there somewhere, it looks fab as it is Hels but i would love to see what you would do with those photos today, all the best to for tomorrow just incase I dont chat to you, take care xx

Actually, it's better than most of my early pages. Isn't it fun to look back and see how vastly you have grown as an artist?:) And, I am right there with re:scrapbooking going to the wayside since all the fab inking/embossing/multimedia techniques became so popular!!

Very cute Hels and so minimalistic for you . LOL Would love to see you rescrap and see the progression. Sure would love to get my hands on some of those scrabble tiles. Do you know who sells them, or did you steal them from your game? xxD

What a cutie pie you are! Great layout, and I was the same way. Started in scrapbooking and totally went nuts after that, now I hardly touch the scrapbooking, even though I have TONS of pics to do. lol A person can only do so much in one day, right? Stamps and ink win.
