...Today is Wednesday which means that we all follow our esteemed leader Julia and show off our messy desks, I mean workspaces :O)) Nothing much going on on my desk this morning...oh, apart from a haul from a Car Boot that I managed to haggle for when we visited Mum & Dad-in-law on Mother's Day...the local car boot is usually bigger, so I had to scratch around to get what I did...but check out those two cabinets just ripe for altering...let alone, those heavenly ickley birdies...they are made from a heavy resiny type of material...not sure what I will do with them yet, but no doubt I will find some use for them!
I am off to snoop, I mean look, at everyones desks now and see what art is being created...and then I plan to make some art myself :O)

re my sidekick! lol yes he is a shih tzu and yes he is adorable and gorgeous and I myself said to a lady the other day 'aw what a gorgeous shih tzu' she then snapped 'its a lhaso apso i suppose they are similar looking'

I deeply suspect that waht you make as art today will quaify as art far more than what I'm planning! See, I would've walked past those little cupboards without a second thought....it's just not in me!!
Looks like a good car boot session to me - sometimes big ones are worse because you just get sort of dazed and probably miss some good stuff by the time you're half way round!
I haven't been to a car boot for ages - I gotta admit though I only look for craft stuff. Not really ventured into altering things - wouldn't know where to start to for a start hehehe.

Wow you picked up some fab bits there. I hope you alter them quicker than I do. I bought a key cupboard off ebay 'to alter' and all I've done is take the door off the front and stack my DI's and Alcohol inks in it! You can just make it out on my desk.

I love car boots... they are so much fun because you really never know what you will find!! Looks like you did really well out of yours... must admit I would probably of passed on the little birds but I know you will create something gorgeous with them!

The little cabinets are lovely, never been to a car boot sale will have to put it on my list of 100things to do before I die ROFL.
