Rosey Heart Art...

...After making far too many tags recently, I got the Ten Seconds Studio metal and molds *or is it moulds??? In the UK, I reckon we call them moulds...but in the USA, which is where the TSS is born they call them molds...which do you think? :O))* Anyway, armed with one of the Kabuka molds which has little squares on it, I used Barn Red metal and pushed the metal into the odd square, so I had a little crossword stylee pattern going on.

The metal was then mounted onto a piece of 7Gypsies chip, which is a bracket cover but I cut the top off to make it easier for hanging...I aged the metal with black paint, rubbing on with Cut & Dry foam and wiping off with a paper towel. This gives a lovely antiquey kind of look as the paint sticks into the little squares.

I made a little strip to make a separater down the middle, using gold metal, making "rivets" using a large ball and cup and then a teensy ball and cup...I then edged all of the .. erm...edges with a texture tool, just to finish it off. The large heart is a Studio 490 image, stamped onto metal and then attached to black crad, which I then used a paper stump to "puff" the top of the heart out.

I made a metal rose, using the middle sized Studio 490 rose art stamp...scribbling into the metal and then antiquing as before. This was laid onto a Grungeboard flower, stamped with another Studio 490 flower, which was coloured with Barn Door Distress Ink and then overstamped with a plaid stamp. The little leaves are made using more Studio 490 images, stamped onto Grungepaper and then coloured with Crushed Olive and curled for effect.

The little word was stamped into gold metal, scribbled behind and then attached to a fancy Idea-ology frame....and finally, I added a little bottle, with a few drips of Red Pepper Alcohol Ink and then filled with golden beads and pearls. Thanks for looking...I am off to make a tag now...withdrawal symptoms LOL

ps. It's moulds I believe. We do use the word mold - I think it's another word for compost/earth/dirt etc. ;-)
