Love Is InThe Air...

...Over on the Gingersnap Creations challenge blog there is a brand new theme this week...and as it is a new month, we have a brand new sponsor which is The Artistic Stamper, who are kindly giving away yummy candy for one lucky entrant to the challenge. The theme this week is Romance...so what better than to use the new range of heart stamps from The Artistic Stamper!

I combined my love of all things hanging *no dirty jokes pleeeease!!* and made a little Maya Road Chipboard piece, colouring the chip with Old Paper, Fired Brick and Walnut Stain Distress Inks and then using the heart background stamp, along with a dotty background stamp to make a nice...er...background :O) I covered most of the piece with Rock Candy Cracklepaint and once this was dried, added some ribbon and lace as a divider.

The message was stamped onto more Maya Road, again coloured with DI's and the actual message plate was them smothered with Rock Candy Stickles. The little roses are made using Grungepaper, Distress Inks and the medium and dinky flower from the Flower Power Plate and I used more Maya Road (swirls) behind the flowers instead of leaves. All of the stash used on this piece can be got from The Artistic Stamper...

Thanks for looking... have a pop on over to the Gingersnaps...there are some amazing pieces of art on the blog using the same stamps...so you can see loads of different ideas using the same set of stamps...and, if you join in ...you could win some candy!
