Bingo....Wings???

...You know what? I have never been to the Bingo...have I shocked you now? There you were, thinking I was a woman of the world...when in actual fact I have led a very sheltered life LOL Anyway, this Bingo Wing thingy that seems to be a phrase coined for a lady of, shall we say, stout stature and aging years...and I always thought that these old Bingo Wings were something that you got if you went to Bingo...so imagine my horror when I caught sight of myself waving...I nearly knocked my head off with the whiplash and several small birds were so scared by the backdraft that they are now in hiding! To celebrate my new found Bingo Wings *they have probably been lurking there for years, I have just never noticed* and my advancing years, I had one of those light bulb moments the other night...when I was playing with the lovely Wendy Vecchi 490 stamps...and some Maya Road chippy angel wings...

So I chopped the wings into two, then after colouring with DI's, I stamped the Bingo background stamp onto them and then covered them with Rock Candy Cracklepaint...not sure this is showing up too well tho... I popped them behind the head stamp which had been jazzed up with Film Strip specs *I wish I could take the credit for this fab idea but it was stolen, by me, from Wendy V herself...am sure she won't mind tho :O))* Anyway, the flower on the head was stamped again onto Grungepaper and then layered over the top with a gem in the middle...which is meant to be a light bulb (go along with me on this one...please!!?)

The next ATC has nowt to do with Bingo .. or Wings...but I thought I would pop it on here anyways :O)) This one is a two sided (actually, Bingo Wings is too but the backside is rubbish so I am not blogging it ROFL) I was getting a bit bored of just inking the chipboard, so out came Claudine Hellmuths amazingly fabbylush *aha! a new crafting terminology word there you see!* Sticky Back canvas...and I cut this to fit over the chippy base...coloured it with DI's...I think this one is Broken China .. a very dry Broken China (need a Re-Inker desparately) and in the centre a paler colour...Antique Linen...and then over stamped with another WV background...I used the needleworky one to tie in with the canvassy stitchy stylee...I added some Noah chip letters, inked and then Rock Candy Stickled...and the delish tulip stamped twice and curled to make shabby. The little centre snap is from the Idea-ology range and the daft little crocodile clip is butchered from a little coat hanger that was bent and sad on my desk (having been sat on *don't ask - another crafting mishap!)

The reverse is made the same way but without the canvas...and the ickle houses are more Maya Road chip, Filmstrip added over the top of a bit of lace and ribbon...and...did you notice.....the little window has a net curtain....how twee!!! The windows of the other house have Glossy Accents in them to make them shiney, I went a bit mental with the GA though, hence the rather messy effect all around the houses LOL

Right, enough wafflings from me for today...thanks for looking...and if you are in the mood for a little shop...all of the stash used on these ATCs is available from The Stamp Attic...oh and if you really fancy a treat, you can pre-order the new Wendy Vecchi stamps and book there too! Have fun....

My fave ATC is of course the Bingo Wings, because of your story and the fact that they are so creative and beautiful.
Have a great day!
