Sunday Stampers - Week 73 - Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Morning Stampers!

Another Sunday which means another new theme on the Sunday Stamper challenge...firstly, thank you for joining in with the challenge last week...and the winner, chosen at random from all the entrants, of the Mabel Lucie Attwell stamp candy is:

Andrea ... congrats! I will pop your stamp into the post on Monday :O))

The theme this week is Rainbows; so, you can include any colours in your art, be it just the one or an actual rainbow, which is what I have tried to do in my entries....As ever with the challenge, to join in all you need to do is incorporate the theme and some stamping in your creation and then leave a comment for me here and I can then come and visit you...and the challenge will run for one week.

Here are the cards I have made...not my best but the old Mojo is AWOL :O(

I used alchol inks to get the rainbow effect...I have a great way of remembering the order of the colours: Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain....Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet.

I used stamps by Innovative Stamp Creations, Artistic Outpost, Paperbag Studios, Hero Arts and Catslife Press. All the inks were put onto glossy cardstock in a variety of ways, with the blending tool...and my favest way, a drop of ink onto the card and then a blast with a can of air to make a proper splatter...this time I managed to stay relatively clean!!

I was supposed to be making a book for today's theme...but when I tidied my room out the other night, I think I chucked my Mojo away 'cos I just could not get anything to go right...so this is why there are just some simple cards today...will try to get the book made this week...here's hoping the Mojo comes back!

Thanks for looking...have a great inky day

Hels x
