Thank you for joining in with last weeks Sunday Stamper - I hope that you have all had a great New Year and are all set and ready for a brand new year of crafting :O))
This week the theme is based on the song Black & Gold by Sam Sparro - a really catchy tune which I love - and love even more ever since Tom and Camilla did their first jive to it on Strictly!!
So, you guessed it ... the theme is Black and Gold. A simple theme this week, all you need to do is make something, ensure you use stamping in your artwork and use the colours black and gold.
For my entry, I got a little carried away and made an ATC and a 4x4. The ATC is also going towards the latest ATC swap I am part of, so I am a bit chuffed that I have already got started on my swap list for January :O))
Made using mountboard as a base, painted with Antique Brass Metallic Cracklepaint and then once this was dry, painted with gold Dabber. The stamping was done using black StaZon and a PaperBag Studio stamp. The embellishment is a Muse Token from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology range - as is the Trinket Pin. The sentiment is also from PaperBag Studio's, stamped in gold and embossed onto black mountboard. The little heart charm is from Scrapz, as are the PaperBag Studio stamps, and the ribbons are from my stash. A little word about the metallic Cracklepaint.......YUM!!! If you haven't tried it yet, ooooh, you are missing out. I got mine from The Artistic Stamper who also have a sale on this week :O)) bargain time!!!
Again, black mountboard and Antique Brass Cracklepaint. The stamping which was done with gold embossing and black embossing is using two of the fabby swirly flourishes from The Artistic Stamper. The sentiment is a Stampers Anon Tim Holtz collection stamp and the laughing lass is from PaperBag Studio's. For both the ATC and the 4x4, I used a gold Krylon on the edges just to finish them off neatly.
To join in with the challenge, please make your piece of artwork and then add a link here to the place where you are showing it.... I will pop along to have a look at your little work of art later.
Thanks for joining in and looking - have fun getting inky and messy.
Hugs Hels x
