Sunday Stampers - Week 36 - Frozen Orange Juice

Afternoon Stampers,

Another Sunday which means it is time for a brand new challenge for the Sunday Stampers. This week I have tried to be as uncontroversial as possible - I seemed to have made a bit of a boo boo last week with the choice of song - however, thank you to those of you who did join in, I absolutely loved all the different interpretations of the colours that you used.

Thank you to everyone for your kind wishes also. I have had a bit of a bad week so haven't been able to get to your Blogs immediately but I think I am up to date now.

This week, Grim chose the colour for the challenge, which is Orange. So thank you to Grim for chosing a fab colour which I don't tend to use enough. The song, in case any of the younger viewers don't know it, is by Peter Sarstedt and is from way back in January of 1969. It happens to be a fave of mine - even if it was actually released before I was born!! Most of you will know that I just have a love of music and a jolly good tune!

Anyways, I decided to decorate another butterfly - I am really loving decorating these - if you missed the Sunday Stamper a few weeks ago, there are details on that post on how to download the template and the reason why butterflies are being decorated - if you click here you will be transported to Dan's Blog and he has kindly made some downloadable templates for us.

I used Spiced Marmalade and Dried Marigold Distress Inks, some fabby new Flourish Stamps which were stamped and embossed in clear and then added a touch of Walnut Stain around the edges. I then coloured and added some little Grungeboard butterflies, which are from the brand new shapes in the Nature collection. All the products I used today are available from the Artistic Stamper. I have also taken a little piccie of their fab new storage for unmounted stamps - my Flourish stamps are safely tucked in the boxes to keep them tidy and also to protect the Kling-On cushioning they are mounted on. Click Here for a look at the products.

Thanks for looking and I hope you have fun with this challenge.

Cheers Hels x

Lovely butterfly Hels. I have made one for this week but unfortunately it must be buried under the mound of stuff on my table :O but will post it when I find it. I've finally uploaded last weeks though. I'd made 2 that I wasn't happy with which is why it's late. I'd love you to have alook at my felt butterfly for the Butterfly Project if you can pop over for a quick visit ;)
Anne xx
