Hello again,
I have made another house for the Little Houses swap I am hosting.....five down and five to go now...I really should get my builders hat on cos the swap closes soon :O))
For this house, I used a piece of textured card and cut the shape of the house out twice, then cut a separate chimney. I then cut an aperture in the middle of one of the shapes and scored the sides of the square rather than cutting them out, so I have a pair of patio doors. The stamp across the bottom of the doors is meant to be a balcony, I know, it is naff but it was worth a try LOL
I coloured the house shapes using Scattered Straw and Pine Needles Distress Inks. These two really are my fave combinations of colours!! I stamped the Grumpies as I call them, onto a piece of white cardstock. I masked the stamped image off and then coloured the card to match the background of the house. I used a waterbrush and Distress Inks to colour in the Grumpies, I gave them both pink hair - how they would love that.....not!!
For the stamping on the house itself I used a selection from Inkadinkadoo, Stamp Bug, Lost Coast Designs and Paper Bag Studios.
Finally, I added a couple of eyelets to the doors and then used Jute to close them together.
Thanks for looking
