Sunday Stampers - Week 25 - Flowers In The Rain

Afternoon Peeps,

A little later posting this new theme than usual....apologies if you have been waiting to see what the new challenge is....again, blame the pain which is making me really slow today!

Thanks to all of you who joined in last week, I loved all your different interpretations of the challenge.

The new theme is Flowers. As usual, you can make whatever you like so long as there are stamps included in your project.

I have made an ATC and a Tag using the new Stitchel Stamps, designed by yours truly and available to purchase from The Artistic Stamper.

I spent absolutely ages stamping loads of the flowers and leaves from the range and then colouring them all in using Prismacolor pencils. I then cut them all out and layered them in different ways using 3D foam and Glossy Accents to stick them all together.

For the Tag, I used plain white cardstock and cut this to approx 3" x 6". I made a little hole protector using a hole punch and a circle punch and stuck this to the top of the tag. I used VersaColour Fresh Green and Tea Green inks to blend some colour onto the base of the tag and used a cute little border stamp to add a little bit of detail to the background. I made a little mat using plain card, stamped the sentiment using Olive Green StaZon. I made a mat for the background using plain card inked up with the Tea Green ink and matted the sentiment onto this.

I then added the Stitchel Flowers to the tag, sticking them down so they overlap the edge of the tag. All of the flowers are 3 layers and I used 3D foam and Glossy Accents to make them look like this. Ribbon was added to the hole at the top just to finish the tag off.

For the ATC, I used plain white cardstock, used Cut & Dry foam to blend orange and blue inks onto the card, I then stamped the words with StudioG alpha's and snipped them into little banners, added 3D foam to them and stuck both the banners and the flowers onto the ATC base. I edged the ATC with Lapis Blue Ancient Page ink just to finish it off.

I hope that you all enjoy this new theme and join in .... please add a post on here when you have made your creation and add a link to where you are showing it so I can come and have a look at your work of art.

Thanks for looking......and have fun getting inky and messy :O))
