What A Lot To Say!

Hello Peeps,

I have got loads of stuff to write in this entry so I will get straight on with it!!

Last week I made a couple of cards for my friend Andrea, to say thank you for having me stay with her and for being such a fabby friend. Here are the cards:

I used a Penny Black stamp and watercoloured it with my delish Derwent pens. The sentiment is by Hero Arts.

For this one I used those heavenly Urban Rhapsody papers from K&Co, the stamps are by Inkadinkadoo and the message is from my head and stamped using StudioG alpha's. Flowers are courtesy of Prima.....mmmm..Love those flowers!!

Next, it was my wedding anniversary this weekend and I decided to make a little something for my Grim to remind him I lurve him. I bought a chipboard word and altered it. It took ages to alter because it was so fiddly! The bonus is that I have the "negative" bits of chipboard so I can alter those too! I used papers by SandyLion, Cracklepaint, ribbons and charms and a couple of Prima's. I wanted to get a lovey look without it being too girly. Anyway, he loves it so I am chuffed!!!
And, cos it was our anniversary, I got a brilliant pressie too!!!! He bought me some Prismacolor Pencils. *I know he is all for a quiet life, so at least this is one less thing for me to bang on about all the time...I will have to start talking about that CriCut a bit more often I think LOL. Seriously though, I love my new pencils and have had a little play this afternoon. I used a Penny Black stamp and whilst it takes a little longer than using watercolours because you have to use the Sansodor, the effect is completely different! I will always love my Derwents though - and if you have never used them then you really are missing out!! Anyway, I ramble on - here are some piccies to look at!

I spent ages sharpening the pencils and then putting them into colour bands but look at them!!! All those colours!!! Eeeeee, I am excited!!! Here is a close up of the BeeKitty :O))

And finally! *thank goodness for that you all say!*

I have been given an award!! Liz has very kindly awarded me an award!!! And, the rules say

1. The winner can put the logo on her blog.
2. Link the person you received your award from.
3. Nominate al least 7 other blogs.
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message on the blogs of the girls/guys you've nominated

So, I am nominating:

Oh, nearly forgot - here is the award piccie

Anyway, enough of my rambling - hope you all have a good week - and remember, it is the last day to enter the Blog Challenge over on The Artistic Stamper Blog and there is some fabby candy up for grabs too!

Have fun and thanks for looking
