Sunday Stampers - Week 22 - With A Little Help From My Friends

Hello again

Blimey, this week has gone quickly and I apologise that I haven't had the chance to post comments on all your Blogs to say thank you for joining in with the Ebony & Ivory Challenge last week....I have had a couple of days staying with Andrea and whilst I have looked at your works of art, I haven't had chance to comment yet...I will be on my way round visiting in the next day or so....promise :O))

First of all, it is time to announce the winner of last week's Blog Candy, which has been very kindly supplied by Jennie from The Stamp Connection. The winner has been chosen at random, it would have been way to difficult to chose a favourite from all your creations because they are all stunning and I loved them all too much to make that decision!!! So, without further ado, the winner is....

*drumroll please*

Phree

Congratulations! The A5 unounted Garden Plate is ready for posting, so if you could drop me an email with your addy then I can pop it into the snail mail tomorrow for you!

Turning to this weeks challenge, the theme is Friends. The song title has a special meaning to me which is why it has been set for this week.

I have made a canvas for my entry. I used Bisque and Blush Rose Chalk Ink Pads to colour the canvas and the stampbord pieces. I stamped all my images using the Blush Rose and then used StudioG alpha's to write out the words of the song. * I will just add that the details of the song etc are: Lennon/McCartney - Northern Songs, as I know that copyright is sometimes a worry and I am grateful for borrowing the lyric.*

I ultra thicked all the stampbord pieces and then stuck them to the canvas using Glossy Accents.
I then wrote the credits and the title and the tribute around the edge of the canvas.

I hope you all have this song in your heads all week as it is a lovely tune - and please remember to add your post here once you have made your creation, adding the link to the place where you are showing it.

Have fun peeps and get inky and messy :O))

Hels x
