Hi peeps,
I have had a few spare hours today and feel miles better (guess it wasn't ManFlu after all :O)) so I have made the Papertake Weekly Challenge which this week is Blooming Gorgeous....so plenty of petals and flowers to be used!
I told you I have a thing about Monochrome at the moment and this card is no different!! Well, it is a little but you will see that in a mo!
I started by taking some cream cardstock and randomly stamping a flowerhead stamp by Whispers using black Versafine ink. I matted this onto the card and then took some more cream card and stampe the Fabulous stamp by Heidi Swapp, again using black Versafine. I matted this onto a piece of black card and then set about popping lots of Prima flowers around the edge of the message mat, making a waterfall of flowers. As you can see I did add a little colour with the pink blooms and I added silver brads to them to define them more. Finally, I edged the whole card with black ink to finish it off.
I love taking part in the challenges, so thank you to the Papertake team for another fabby weekly challenge.
