Papertake - Violets Are Blue

Hi there

I have taken part in my first Challenge!!

Here is the card I have made for the Papertake Challenge which is "Violets Are Blue".

This is a simple card, I used a lovely scribble Daisy stamp by Hampton Art, inking it with Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Pads, then spritzing the stamp and stamping twice. The first image I have left as a "mat". The second image has been cut out, a brad added to the middle and then stuck over the flower head of the first image using silicone glue. The message mat is made by the same technique using a Hero Arts message stamp. I have popped both images onto some card which I have edged with Silver Krylon pen. To tie in the colours, I swiped the Faded Jeans pad around the edges of the mats and then the card itself. I then spritzed with water to achieve a "scruffy" look in line with the stamp style.

I really enjoyed making this card so thank you to the Papertake team for this weeks challenge.

Thanks for looking

Hugs Hels xx
