Hello again,
Fresh from my day of crafting here is the next installment of Blog Challenge cards I have made :O))
This challenge is from the Papertake Weekly Blog and the title this week is "Hearts Desire".
I have gone a bit bonkers with the Grungeboard again - I just cannot stop using it :O))
Here is my card which I made using some plain cream cardstock which I distressed using Fired Brick Distress Ink. I then added a torn piece of Aged Gold paper and spritzed with Gold Glimmer Mists. I then stamped the hearts all over the card using Walnut Stain ink which I then heat embossed clear. The heart stamp is from a Pierot Plate by PaperArtsy. The main message is from the Tim Holtz Collection by Stampers Anonymous. I distressed some more plain cardstock in the same way and stamped the message in black StaZon. I then used my alphabet stamps (by Stamps Away) and made the little extra message mat "desire". The Grungeboard hearts have been distressed with Fired Brick and then I have sanded the edges, smudged gold Krylon over the surface to show the pattern and then bent them to give them more dimension. I used a paper distresser to rough up the edges of the message mat and around the cardstock. A few gold eyelets for decoration finish the card.
I loved this challenge .... I got to use my fave Grungeboard again :O))
Thanks for looking
