...Over on the Allsorts Challenge blog there is a new theme - Furry Friends.
For my card, I used Basic Grey papers for the background and coloured the Mabel Lucie Attwell image in with ProMarkers and Copics. The flowers are from the Flower Power set as are the leaves, both stamped onto paper and overstamped with the Houndstooth and Chicken Wire background stamps...and all of the stamps used are from The Artistic Stamper.
I added a few dabs of Glossy Accents to the little girls shoes and decoupaged the teddy and the puppy so the card has some depth. I used a Nestie to make a circle for the image and then used a scalloped one to make a mat for this to sit on. Finally, I added a sentiment to the card...which is another one of those Artistic Stamper greetings :O))
Thanks for looking...have a great day...tis wet and yukky here so a day indoors relaxing for me I think :O)

GingerSnappers Challenge #16 - Ribbons
Cor blimey!
Two posts in one day!
Another fabulous challenge from the GingerSnappers, which was to use ribbons on your artwork. Well, I used one ribbon...which I hope will be allowed :O)) and I also used some gorgeously scrummy lace to go with the ribbon. I hasten to add I am only just in time to get this one in as it closes on 15th Aug.....phew!
The card is a massive one, so plenty of room for me to get overembellishing...I used a Whiff of Joy image, coloured with Copics and then cut out with a Nestie. The papers are by KaiserCraft...oh boy, are they heavenly or what? I just love black and white together but wanted to add a little colour, so after seeing my Prima Hydrangeas looking all sad and neglected in the flower drawer (yes, I have a drawer for my flowers...a big one at that ... actually, it is two drawers...only so they don't get crushed tho....LOL) I hit on the monochrome with a "hint" idea.
There is a lot going on on this card and I hope that it isn't too embellished but you know me...I have to always go OTT! Opinions will be greatly appreciated!
Anyways, I hope that it is ok for the GingerSnappers challenge....and thanks for looking....am off to fiddle with some more bits of paper and card now :O))

Just Magnolia Challenge #17
Hey Peeps,
I am the mood for cardmaking...and pretty cutesy cards at that! What better way to spend an evening that fiddling about with paper and flowers...and using a fab sketch by Martine on the Just Magnolia blog:
For my card, I used Making Memories papers, Edwin and Tilda , turquoise Bazzill and some Prima flowers.
I stuck to the sketch pretty much as it should be and used a tag, which I just cut from cream card and then added a little file tab which I cut using my Slice. The Edwin and Tilda were coloured with Pro Markers and Copics and then the sentiment is also a Magnolia stamp. A few little DewDropz and a ferny punch to finish off this fab sketch....and it is deffo one I will use again...next time I will hide a little phrase or sentiment at the bottom of the tag!
Thanks for looking!
