Cor blinking blimey and thrice, I had a faaaaabulous day yesterday at the NEC... I met up with some lovely peeps, had some fabby catch-up natters and was dragged around the stands by Caz & Miriam (ok, dragged is a smidgey bit exagerative *think I made up a new word there!*) And yes, I took my camera!!! And yes, I forgot to take photo's at regular intervals... so here are a few... yes, there really were that few! This is my favest one. So, it is mid afternoon, we are all tired, hot and achey footed so we spy a little wall to lean on and I am rummaging in my bag and see the camera, sitting there, unloved... so I has this idea "Caz, you are the tallest, you hold the camera at arms length and me and Miriam will duck into the picture..." This is the resulting shot.... hilarious.... *but memorable!*
I
Next we wandered around to the Create & Craft stand to see Nigel and Leonie and grabbed Nigel for a photo opportunity... he liked my nails btw, that's why we are holding our paws up... seriously.... my nails were totes stained with Archival ink last night and being as I didn't have chance to "do them" I slapped some black crackle nail varnish on them and yep, it covered the black Archival... cool huh!!!
We took a little break for coffee and blueberry muffins (thanks Caz!) and being as I was intent on making my photo-log of the day, I was rummaging in my bag and spied the camera sitting at the bottom and decided to take a pic off my footwear of the day... these stayed on my feet all day... and whilst I did moan a little bit I was ever so glad I stuck it out cos once they had stretched a bit they were a lot more comfy that I thought they would be. Aren't they cute!
And after a very long and happy day, it was time to go home... so, being as I am uber-on-the-ball (ok, I was going in my bag to get my car keys and saw the camera) I took a quick snap of our combined stashly haul. My bag is the teensy one on the end (believe that, you will believe 'owt lol)
Big thanks to Caz & Miriam for making the day so enjoyable... to Cynthia for my scrummy macaroon and to Samantha for making me the best Bara Brith I have tasted since my dear old Gran was alive... and to everyone else I bumped into and
Hels x

Morning Hels, Brill piccies, the nails were fantastic, glad you had a good day. It was great meeting up with you, I wish I could have gone again today as didn't get as long to mooch as I would have liked, because of restrictive train times, still spent a lot though ha ha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Morning Hels,
You look like you had a smashing time. Wish I could have gone. I just love them shoes. X
Morning Hels, bet it was nicely to be a visitor to a show instead of demoing. Lovely photos. Shame these shows are always to far away for me to go! Emma
Omg Hels, what did you come home with!?!? The room of stash is going to explode.

It was GREAT to see you but not long enough. Why there are less hours in the day you visit a craft fair beats me!!!!LOL

You've made me wish I was going now :-(! Might have considered it tomorrow but OH is taking my car with him to work as it's due for a service (he works at a dealership). Ah well, I've spent enough elsewhere this week so I suppose I should be sensible ............ boring but sensible, lol!
