Hey Peeps,
Aw, those new Tilda stamps are gorgoeus aren't they? I got a new one the other day...Tilda with Puppy....aw, it is so sweet!
I coloured the image with ProMarkers and then used some Laundry Line papers ... these are divine, glittered and lush colours too.
I made a little mat for Tilda to sit on...using the Bug as usual and a Nestie...mmm, a habit forming here I think!
Thanks for looking.....have a good day

Miss Anya's Greetings
Morning :O))
I had to have a little play with those heavenly Miss Anya and Greetings Farm stamps...and I came up with another couple of cute cards...
This card was made using a cute little Greetings Farm stamp...couldn't resist her, she is sooo sweet...and I used We R Memory Keepers White Out papers that have been lurking in the stash...
The mats are made using Nesties and the sentiment is from a Hero Arts set. As ever, the flowers are a mix of Prima's and paper roses and a few leafy bits from a Martha Stewart punch.
This next card was made using Eva collection papers by Basic Grey. I punched borders using a Martha Stewart punch...I am waiting, patiently, for the Doily punch to be back in stock and posted to me...I neeeeeed that one so much LOL
The Miss Anya was coloured with ProMarkers and the little flowers are by Magnolia, cut out, layered and then jazzed with Stickles. Oh and the mats are Nesties as usual...but I ran the big one thru the new Victoria Bug folder...heavenly or what? :O))
Thanks for looking...am resting my poorly paw today ... overdone it I think and it is aching like mad at the moment.

No Need to Adjust Your Colour.....
Hey Peeps,
I made another monochrome card... a massive one at that...using some gorgeous DCWV papers which are soooo heavenly and utterly strokeable ... and a cute ickle Sarah Kay stamp. I used some grey DCWV cardstock for backing the paper pieces...and yes, the big pieces on the card are flocked...but certainly do not remind me of Indian Restaurants LOL
I used the Bug and a Nestie to make the mat for the message, which is a Hero Arts stamp...and I used a ribbon stamp to make the ribbon bow on the top of the image...oh, which was coloured in with the Greys ProMarkers. The flower is a made up with Prima's and a little metal beady thing that I salvaged from an old bracelet....I popped a fancy head pin behind the flower just to add a little something extra.
Have a good day now and thanks for looking :O)) I am very excited today cos I am going to have the stitches out from my hand....I have a while 7 of them too...and this means that I can stop wearing the dressing and actually give me hand a right good nourishing with some handcream!! Thanks again for all the lovely messages that I have been receiving, egging on my recovery...means a lot to me xx

Sunday Stampers - Week 63 - Imagine
Morning Stampers,
Thanks for joining in with the challenge last week - I saw some gorgeous pretty creations :O))
This week I have returned to my usual style of inky and messy for my entries...notice I say in the plural...I got a bit carried away with this weeks theme you see! The theme this week is Imagine...as ever, to join in, all you need to do is make something, be it an ATC, card, wall art, the choice is yours, incorporate the word Imagine into your design and use some stamping along the way too. Once you have made your piece, please pop back here and leave me a message and then I can hop on over to your Blog for a nosey :O))
Hanging Art - Imagine #1
I started out with a Grunge Book cover, which is a fab bracket style shape. The holes are already punched in and it is a bit thicker than normal Grungeboard so very durable. I covered it with DewDrop Inks - using Crimson Copper, Crimson Pearlescent and Cosmic Copper inks.
Next I used my favouritest ever crafty product...yes, Grungepaper...and coloured pieces of this with the same inks, cutting a thin strip which would make "ribbon" to be used with the copper slider.
I used those fabulous Studio 490 stamps by Wendy Vecchi..well, I haven't used them for a few days so I had begun to have withdrawals from them LOL I stamped the images using Ranger Black Archival ink and dried it off with a blast from the Heat Gun. I cut out the stamped images and curled them and distressed them a bit to liven them up.
Next I used the Bug with Nesties and cut out two Labels from Grungepaper, coloured with the inks and stamped on a sentiment with the word Imagine in it and decorated the larger label with leafy images which are also Studio 490 stamps.
Finally, once all the bits were stuck down with silicone glue, I added a some wire for the hanger and made a little hanging baubley thing using beads and a bit of chain.
Hanging Art - Imagine #2
The base of this piece is actually a chipboard BIA book cover but it is so lovely that I thought if I turned it on its side it would be perfect for a hangy piece. I had to sand the surface of the cover as it is a bit shiney and the Distress Inks I was using really didn't want to stick to it. Inbetween the layers of colour, I used the Heat Gun to set the inks...I used Old Paper, Weathered Wood and Vintage Photo Distress Inks for this bit.
I then used some creamy card to make a border strip which was done with a Martha Stewart punch...if you knew the trouble I had had trying to find this punch! I trawled the t'internet for hours last week looking for the Doily one...nowhere in stock, so got this one instead, and I have to say, it is rather yummy :O))
Next, I used the Slice to make a heart for the message...used the Bug and an Embossing Folder to make the backing for the heart and then got stuck in with the stamping. The main stamped images are again from the fab Studio 490 designs but this time I did venture out and use a flower image by Declassified and the Imagine word is part of a definition by Lost Coast.
I used the Studio 490 stamps to make a split background, my fave has to be the spotty stamp, it just makes the most gorgeous backgrounds and is brill for stamping over plain images to jazz them up a bit too.
I added a few bits of the Idea-ology range to this piece - am so loving these little metal embellies as they really give a grand finishing look...the press studs are cheated a bit - the chipboard is too thick for them to go thru, so I just used good old Glossy Accents to stick down the top part of the press stud...none the wiser eh??
Finally, I rummaged in my Bits n Bobs box and found a broken brooch, stuck this to the design and then added a few beads to a teensy glass vial....The inks, Grungepaper/Board/Book, the Idea-ology stuff and the glass vials are all available from The Artistic Stamper.
Thanks for looking and I hope you like this new theme, which, as ever will run for the whole week...have a great day...apologies for the rubbish pics today...the hand is okish but after all this crafting it is a bit sore... the clicking of the mouse was hurting so I ended up chopping the pix about! LOL

Tilda Card....What? Another One??
Mornin!
Yes, another Tilda card today;
Made ages ago using some K&Co papers from the Mira Collection, ProMarkers to colour in, flowers to embellish and a Penny Black sentiment.
The flowers and the butterfly are actually my Stitchels Dotty Dot's, stamped onto the paper, cut out, layered and then finished off with a DewDrop and some Stickles :O))
Short n sweet today! *just like me LOL
Thanks for looking.....btw, the mat she is standing on is from a Cuttlebug Folder, embossed and then sanded to look a bit shabby.

Tilda ... or Three?
Hey Peeps,
I was just rummaging thru my photo files on the lappy and guess what? I found some pics I took of cards I made aaages ago but forgot to Blog!
This is a card I made for a friend of a friend who wanted a cute, pretty card for her daughter who was 16.
Using three different Tilda images and lots of Basic Grey papers ... these are the Bittersweet collection I think...and some Cuttlebug/Nesties, oh and the letters were cut out using the CriCut ... I came up with this design.
Now, anyone who has followed this Blog for a while will know that I really have a terrible tendancy to overembellish....erm, this card is typical of this habit!! :O)) I added some little fancy headed pins which were threaded with beads....added gemstones, glitter Stickles....you get the idea!!
The flowers are made by stamping my Stitchels designs onto the BG paper, cutting out, layering and adding bits to the middles.
Thanks for looking :O))

Take A Note Please.....
Morning!
Tis a lovely sunny day here...let's hope it stays like it cos we have had enough rain to last us now :O))
I got a bit inky and messy the other day...and my hand really is improving...to the point that I could get inky fingers and no pain! Yay...looks like it was a success!
I bought some little notepads aaaages ago, you know, like you do.... you see them in the bargain bin and think that you will alter them...one day..... Well, "one day" was Tuesday and I decided enough was enough, all these alterables sitting about, neglected...
I cut some cream cardstock and used Distress Inks to colour the background, using a Mini Mask on the way, spritzing with water, stamping and overstamping...making a little bookplate using the Slice and generally enjoying the inkyness of it all. The stamps are Tim Holtz collection except for the "Look Inside" which is a Catslife Press one.
I added a few tied bits of ribbon to the ringbinder, trying to cover up the little gap at the top of the card!
Thanks for looking, have a lovely day whatever you are up to.

Juicy Lucy - Gingersnap Creations Challenge 17 - Citrus
Hey Peeps,
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
What?
Excitement?
Yah!!!!!
I managed to make a card today....using my right hand too!!!! It hurted a little bit but I had my wrist support on so it was ok.
Over on the fabulous Gingersnap Creations there is a brand new challenge - I love challenges but rarely get the chance to join in, so armed with my new hand and some bright coloured ProMarkers, I set to making a card. The stamped image is a Paula Best by Stamps Happen, I fell in love with this stamp the minute I saw it and had to have it, and it was my birthday that day, what an excuse eh?
The backing cardstock is a huge 8" square card..I love this size cos I can fit more on to it LOL The papers are Basic Grey Lime Rickey - I only have the 6" pad...sob...but that is better than nowt I guess. I added some juicy coloured ribbon and a little charm and then made a phrase using a Hero Art stamp and a couple of brads.
Finishing touches were sanding the DCWV cardstock, curling the corner (bad habit I have there) and making a bloom embellishment.
Thanks for looking! I am seriously hoping that the hand is truly recovering cos that means I will be crafting daft very soon!

#9 SueHart
Congrats hun and I really hope you will enjoy playing the candy - please can you drop me an email with your addy and I will get the parcel into the post for you sometime this week. I am not allowed to drive yet so I will have to wait for Grim to have a free afternoon :O))
The theme this week is Pretty ... as ever with the Sunday Stamper, all you need to do to join in is make a piece of artwork, be it a card, ATC, 4x4, altered art..the choice is entirely yours...just remember to use some stamping on your design and then leave a message for me on this post...then I can hop over and take a peek at your lovely work.
Because of the op on my hand...and the fact that crafting properly makes it really hurt...believe me, I tried it earlier today!!!!..... I have had to choose this theme 'cos I haven't any other stuff to put in as my entry LOL
I am therefore showing a couple of cards that I made before my operation...hope you like them!

What A Week!!
Hey Peeps
Wow, what a week it has been...firstly, thank you to everyone for your lovely get well wishes, they have been extremely appreciated indeed! :O)) I am typing one handed...the surgery went well as far as I can tell...the wound is still sore but I have more strength in my hand as each day passes, which is a great sign!
What a day Tuesday was too! The Stitchels range of stamps that I design for The Artistic Stamper were featured on QVC....I was so excited to see them on there and it really felt like I had come full circle as the reason I started crafting was because Grim bought me a TSV all those years ago! If you click HERE, you will be taken direct to the webpage where you can have a look at them :O))
The stamps are Stitchels style and this new set features a birdy - whom, I may add, is a bit of a floozy, check out her tail!!! Where was I? Oh yes, a bird, a flower, a leafy vine and a flower vase with blooms. I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Jennie for giving me the chance to make my little doodley designs come to life and also to Craig and Amanda from Sakura for sorting out the hard bits and finally to Dawn Bibby for her great demonstration of the kit :O))
Anyway, here are a couple of cards I have managed to pop together....it has taken me nearly all evening to get them made as using my left hand to do the colouring was laughable...hence the rather scruffy looking birdy tail....but I have enjoyed being back in my room of stash! :O))
Thanks for looking and again, for all your lovely messages etc...I am off to be a good girl again and rest my hand up a bit...don't tell Grim that I have been nawty and been making cards....LOL ;O))

Anyways, because I will be in hospital all day having the op, and then out of action for a few weeks, I thought that I would run the Sunday Stamper over to the week after next....which will be July 19th. Just a reminder that the theme is HOME.
I will set a new theme on July 19th and the Candy Winner will be announced on that day...that gives me a week or so to recouperate and an extra week for you all to join in :O))

Tilda On A Watering Can
Morning!
Oh dear, I seem to have had a severe attack of the "cuties" this week...I am in a cardmaking and colouring in mood you see!
I used some Basic Grey papers from the Lemonade range, coloured Tilda and her Watering Can in with ProMarkers and then used the 'Bug to cut some Nestie shapes.
I added a couple of Prima flowers to the card and popped some jewelled flowers into the centres just to add a bit of sparkle. Am really loving citrus colours at the moment so these papers were just perfect.
Thanks for looking...have a great day... and please don't forget that there is still time to be in with a chance of winning yourself some mega Blog Candy on the Sunday Stamper theme which, if you click HERE, you will be able to have a look at.....:O))

Here Kitty Kitty!
Hi Peeps
I am such a sucker for a cute image ... or two ... so when I spotted these new Magnolia stamps I knew that I was done for! The worst part was waiting a whole day until they arrived home with me! Anyway, here he is... ta dah... Tilda's Cat...along with a lovely little sentiment, a present for him to sit on and some fabby new flowers which are also from the Tilda range.
I used Bazzill cardstock and my Nesties to make a background mat for him to sit on, coloured him and the other images in with ProMarkers and then popped them all together to make a birthday card.
I love this little fella, I think he is my new fave new stamp...well, at least for a few days...then there will be another favourite...oh, I am such a craft tart ;o))
You can't really blame me for falling for this sweet little face though can you? The only problem is now that there are loads of new stamps in the Tilda range, all with equally cute faces, a monkey, a lion, an elephant.....oh dear, I had better get saving LOL
Thanks for looking...have a great day!

Grunged Hanging Art
Hi peeps
Another day and another piece of hanging art...this time totally made using either Grungeboard or Grungepaper....did I ever mention that I love these two products the mostest? :O)) (Along with my Studio 490 stamps of course)
I used some DewDrop Brilliance inks to colour the Grungeboard base...this was a page from a Grungebook BTW. I haven't tried these inks on the Grunge before so wasn't sure how they would turn out...I was so pessimistic I even had the Gesso at the ready to cover it all up if it went a bit bad....how wrong I was!!! It covers it perfectly and gives a really shimmering lustre to the finished article....yum! Another new addiction for me then LOL
I stuck to fave colour combo's and used Sky Blue, Beige and Crimson Copper inks. The Crimson Copper actually came out more of an Eggplant colour but it goes well with the others so I went with it!
The Grungeboard shapes are all coloured the same way and then stuck down using Glossy Accents. BTW, shapes are from the Nature set, as are the letters.
I wanted to split the background, totally inspired by Wendy Vecchi - those little sheets of designs that come with the stamps are fab for ideas - so I used two different background stamps but sadly my photographic skills are wanting so you can't really see the larger side's background, but it does look nice...honest LOL Once I had split the base, I used a little metal slider and a strip of Grungepaper to make a divider.
Added to the finished piece are dots of Distress Stickles and a little pearl for the wing - which was made using Studio 490 leafy stamp.
Finally, for a change, I used some thickish wire to make a hangy bit for the Grungebase...and wound it about my pokey tool to make it curly.
Thanks for looking and remember... all the Grungeboard/Paper and Distress Stickles etc can be gotten from The Artistic Stamper. Have a good day.....
